Descriptif :

La sorcière à roulettes, c’est un livre papier et un grand poster, accompagnés d’une application en réalité augmentée.
Écrit par Nathalie Palayret et illustré par Lucia Toma Marceau, l’album met en scène la vie d’une femme de la rue, une « sorcière » perçue ainsi par une petite fille. « Elle est moche, vraiment très moche. Et elle fait peur. Quand même un peu« , remarque l’enfant cachée derrière les rideaux de sa maison pour que la sorcière ne la voit pas. Et la petite d’espérer que la sorcière devienne une autre, grâce aux pièces qu’elle mendie.
A la fin de l’album se trouve un poster coloré, « Une journée avec fleurette », qui illustre la ville et ses différents lieux et boutiques.
Grâce à l’application, les enfants vont, avec l’aide de leurs parents, découvrir l’histoire sous un autre aspect, entendre certains sons, découvrir les pensées des personnages et explorer par exemple le caddy de la sorcière.
Une fois le livre lu puis regardé en réalité augmentée, le poster va prendre tout son sens : il permet de découvrir le monde de la rue en étant guidé par la voix de la « sorcière » mais surtout grâce à des témoignages vidéo de personnes sans-abris. Est-ce que ceux qui sont à la rue travaillent ? Est-ce tout le monde est alcoolique dans la rue ? Et comment aider quand on est un enfant ? Ces témoignages ont été réalisés en coopération avec une association, La cloche, qui lutte contre l’exclusion des personnes sans domicile.

Critique

Voici un très beau projet, qui fera réfléchir enfants et parents ! Par son sujet bien sûr et sa volonté de vraiment faire découvrir aux enfants le monde de la rue. La réalité augmentée apporte au livre un vrai plus – même si les pages ne s’animent jamais entièrement – car elle dévoile les pensées secrètes des personnages. Le poster, superbe complément au livre, est un prétexte pour comprendre la vie de la rue et s’attaquer à ses clichés, grâce à des témoignages qui vont droit au cœur.
Pour profiter de cette expérience, prenez votre temps : explorez les images, pleines de détail oniriques, appréciez le livre papier au rythme de votre enfant. Puis regardez l’album au travers de l’appli en échangeant toujours avec votre enfant : vous verrez ainsi comment la vision de la femme sans domicile rejoint finalement cette de la petite fille de l’album. Si, pour la petite, la femme de la rue est une sorcière, pour la sans-domicile, la petite est une princesse – et ses parents la reine et le roi. Enfin profitez ensemble du poster et de son expérience.
L’album s’adresse à des enfants de 5/7 ans mais le poster intéressera des bien plus grands.
