Voici une expérience proposée par Google Arts et Culture éphémère et géniale, réjouissante et fascinante.
Quatre personnages en pâte à modeler, simplement colorés, vous attendent sagement dans Blob Opéra. Leur physionomie bonhomme, leur aspect enfantin et drôle, nous prépare à un gag.
Quatre voix dans le Net
Et pourtant… Tandis que leurs gros yeux suivent votre souris – ou votre doigt si vous êtes sur smartphone ou tablette – jusqu’à que vous les touchiez … le violet, doté d’une voix basse, le bleu, un ténor, le vert, mezzo-soprano et le rouge, soprano, se mettent à chanter. Des voix puissantes et harmonieuses s’échappent de votre écran.
Vous pouvez à l’envie endormir l’un ou l’autre pour écouter les sons de leurs collègues, qui égrènent avec délicatesse des a , e, i, o u, déclenchés par vos mouvements vers la droite ou la gauche, montant ou baissant leurs notes selon vos actions. Le Blob à la voix la plus aiguë chante toujours la mélodie tandis que les autres l’accompagnent en harmonie.
Noël à l’honneur
En activant la petite icône sapin, à droite de l’écran, les voici maintenant tous les 4 dotés de chapeaux de Noël, à donner de la voix sous une légère neige. Ah et vous pouvez également simplement profiter d’un concert, sans agir, en savourant des versions originales et fort belles de Jingle Bells, Silent Night, ou encore The first Noel.
Blob Opéra, développé en collaboration avec Google Arts et Culture, est une création de David Li, coutumier des expériences interactives sonores . Ce sont les voix des chanteurs d’opéra Christian Joel, Frederick Tong, Joanna Gamble et Olivia Doutney qui ont été enregistrées puis mixées.
Inutile ? Bien sûr que non ! Réjouissant et étonnant.
Si vous voulez en complément découvrir avec vos enfants les voix d’opéra, vous pouvez associer à cette expérience l’application Opéra Play, une application gratuite pour Apple et Android, éditée par Sonic Solveig, qui permet d’apprendre à reconnaître justement – dans un style graphique complétement différent – les différentes voix. Dans le même principe – l’association harmonieuse de sons – mais dans un genre différent – le beat box – il existe bien sûr la fameuse application Incredibox.
