Descriptif :
France Inter propose aux enfants, en partenariat avec le Muséum d’Histoire naturelle, un nouveau podcast baptisé Bestioles, 10 épisodes d’une durée de 8 à 11 minutes. Bestioles s’intéresse à des animaux, petits ou grands. Vous pouvez pour l’instant écouter l’histoire de la marmotte, du crabe, du merle, du lombric, de l’oursin, du kangourou, de l’hippocampe, de la moule, de l’orang-outan et de l’araignée.
Il s’agit de documentaires narratifs : Denis Cheissoux décrit et présente l’animal dans son environnement comme s’il se trouvait face à la scène. Des bruitages, des musiques et des voix l’accompagnent : les animaux, particulièrement les petits, répondent ainsi directement aux questions du narrateur.

Bestioles nous embarque dans le monde à chaque fois surprenant d’un animal : le choix du docu-fiction donne du rythme à la présentation, à la fois amusante et précise dans les mots et informations transmis. A la fin de chaque épisode, une question est posée aux petits auditeurs et auditrices, sur un mot de langue étrangère en rapport avec la bestiole. Vos enfants, s’ils ont écouté seuls ces épisodes, pourraient bien vous apprendre des choses. Tiens, savez-vous ce qu’est le byssus ? Et comment dit-on orang-outan en chinois ?
Le coin des enfants de France Inter propose d’autres podcasts de qualité, en particulier Une histoire et Oli pour des écoutes de contes à partir de 5 ans ou encore Les Odyssées, à partir de 7 ans, pour découvrir les grandes figures, masculines et féminines, de l’Histoire.
